These terms are the agreement between you and TemplateToaster ("we", "us") for our website, our downloadable TemplateToaster Desktop software and our online TemplateToaster AI website builder. By using any of them you accept these terms and our privacy policy.

You must be at least 16 years old and old enough to enter a contract where you live. Give us accurate details, keep your sign-in details and licence key to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used them. You are responsible for what is done under your account or key. If you use our products for a company, you confirm that you may act for it.
The content of templatetoaster.com belongs to us or our licensors. You may read it for your own use but not copy, republish or sell it. Keep forum posts and support messages lawful and courteous; we may remove posts that are not.
Licence. When you buy TemplateToaster Desktop you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to install and use the edition you bought on any two of your computers. To move it, deactivate on the old computer first. The licence does not expire. Updates and support are included for the period stated on the purchase page; after that you may keep using your version or renew updates.
Trial. The trial is free and has no time limit. It marks everything it exports as an evaluation version and cannot save projects for later editing. Test it fully before you buy.
Refunds. Because the trial lets you test everything, we do not refund purchases, except for a fault that appears only after activation and that we cannot fix. Rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be excluded are not affected.
Your work. The templates, themes and websites you make with the software are yours to use, sell and distribute. Sample images and content that ship with the software may be used inside your work but not redistributed on their own.
Limits. Do not share, resell or publish your key, reverse engineer the software, bypass activation, or remove our notices.
Plans and credits. Every account is on a plan. The plan sets your monthly AI credits, how many sites can be live, storage, version history and what you can download. Current plans, prices, limits and the credit cost of each AI action are shown in the app before you commit to them, and the app is the authoritative source. Credits have no cash value and are not refunded when a plan ends.
Paying. Paid plans are billed through our payment provider, which takes payment, adds tax and sends receipts. Plans renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel at any time from the app; your plan continues until the end of the period you paid for, then your account moves to the free plan and its limits apply. We do not normally refund subscription payments because the free plan lets you try the service first; rights that consumer law gives you are not affected. We give at least 30 days' notice of a price change.
Your content. What you put into the builder is yours. You give us the licence we need to store, process, host, publish and deliver it, and to send the AI the parts it needs, and nothing more. You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload and that your sites are lawful.
AI output. Text and layouts the AI produces for you are yours to use. The AI can be wrong, its placeholder testimonials and legal pages are not real until you replace or complete them, and similar briefs can produce similar results. Check everything before you publish.
Third-party content. Stock photographs and videos come from photo libraries under their own licences, which you agree to follow. Built-in templates are licensed for making sites with the builder. If you share a template you made, other users may make sites from it.
Publishing and downloads. We publish your site at an address on our domain, or at a domain you control. Free sites carry a line naming TemplateToaster AI. Files you download on a paid plan are yours to host and change anywhere. Messages from your sites' forms are emailed to you and not stored by us; you are responsible for how you use them.
Rules. Do not use the builder or any site made with it to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, publish harmful or deceptive content, impersonate anyone, send spam, spread malware, collect personal data unlawfully, share accounts, interfere with the service or bypass its limits. If you do, we may unpublish sites, remove content, suspend or close your account, telling you first where we can.
Availability. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee it. We keep backups for a short period, but download the sites that matter to you.
TemplateToaster, its software, service, templates, designs, code and documentation belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you only the licences described above. You keep ownership of your own content and the work you make with our products. Feedback you give us may be used without obligation.
Our products are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that they will be free of faults or interruptions, that AI output will be accurate, or that any site will achieve a particular result. Your rights as a consumer are not affected.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you in any twelve months is limited to what you paid us in that period. Nothing limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
If someone brings a claim against us because of content you published, uploaded or shared, or because you broke these terms, you will cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim, as far as the law allows.
We may change these terms. We post the new version here with a new date and, for changes that matter, email account holders at least 30 days before they apply. Continuing to use our products after that date means you accept them. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
