Launch TemplateToaster and select Joomla under General Tab(you can also select it from Start Page). Start designing from scratch or pick a pre designed one. Select Joomla 4.x/5.x and export it to your computer from File>> Export.
1.Log in to your Joomla admin dashboard.
2.Navigate to Extensions > Manage > Install menu:
3.Upload the downloaded template from your computer to Joomla using the Choose file button.
4.Once done, you will see a notification about successful installation:
Log in to your Joomla admin>> go to Extensions>> Install/Uninstall>> Browse the newly created template from your computer>> Upload it and you can set it as you default template from Extensions>> Templates.
You need to place desired modules on positions available in the new template from Extensions>> Module Manager from your Joomla admin and add the content/pages from Article Manager. While placing the module on an available position make sure to select the desired pages (from bottom of the page) where you want to display that menu.
Go to Menus>> Main Menu or create a new menu from there, Add a new menu item and assign desired article to it, place your menu module on “Menu” position from extensions>> module manager. While placing the menu on menu position make sure to select the desired pages (from bottom of the page) where you want to display that menu.

Go to Extensions>> Module Manager>> Click New from Top Right>> Select Custom HTML>> Click New on Top Right>> On next page select “Footer” under Position Drop Down menu>> Add desired content and links using the content editor on bottom>> Clock Save from top Right.
TemplateToaster provides an option to import website content i.e pages/menu designed in TemplateToaster itself. Once you installed the template at your CMS end, please follow the below provided steps to import the content:
Go to Joomla dashboard -> system -> control panel -> Import content button will be there -> Click the button to import the website content -> It will create pages/menus/widgets etc at you Joomla end.
You can add as many Module Positions while creating your custom Joomla templates in TemplateToaster. But by default you will get some pre created Module Positions in every Template, here is the map of our Default Module Positions.
