Why don't pages created in a theme appear in Wordpress

Question

I created a simple theme with a couple of pages and exported it. I then imported it into wordpress and made it the active theme. The pages I created are not available. The php files do exist in the page-templates directory.

How can I make them available?

TemplateToaster provides an option to import website content i.e pages, menu, widgets etc at WordPress end. To import content please follow the steps provided below:
After activating the template -> Import content button will be visible at top of the dashboard -> Click the  button to import website content.
