Program a little slow and lagy

Question

Anyone else program seem to be a little slow and lagy when working on a project?? I seem to be having this issue. My computer specs are.

Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1
Processor: AMD A8-3820 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHz
I use a gforce gts 250 graphics card
Memory: 8192MB RAM

Which video card driver you have in your computer. Please try to update it.

Hi,

I have been working with the program for about 20 hours total. Saved HTML project file with success about 4 times, but program very slow to save, sometimes after exporting site, files are not updated. Graphics files. Now I cannot load any .ttl file at all, nothing happens and Windows 8.1 freezes. Have to open task manager end TT program. So it won't load any one of the 2 previously saved project files, Rebooted and no joy.

Just got a new laptop and restored the image of my OS (Win7 pro) to the new SSD. TT is now superfast, none of the waiting around for things to happen. I imagine then that perhaps the 'laggyness' must be to do with slow/full hard drives and the amount of times the programme accesses the disc to load/save?
