how to use border ?

hi,

I want to ask about Content - Content Properties - Border.
if I set Border Thickness 0 px then I set 1 px in backend article the border is not show up.
if I set Border Thickness 1 px then I set 0 px in backend article the border is show up (default from scracth).

so how to use that if I want to set 0 px or 1 px in article content ?
