Import features from TT into Joomla

Question

I have been trying to apply unique page characteristics to different pages in mobile view without success. I can change these characteristices in TT but they do not export to my Joomla website. All of the pages inherit the characteristics of the Homepage. I import the zipfile then use the "Import Content", feature in Joomla but the design features do not import. Is what I am trying to do not possible or am I missing a feature of TT that would allow me to do this import?......Thank you

OK so I have been trying to do what is described in my post for several hours. To my surprise what I have been trying to do started working which is great, however, I don't know what I did to cause it to start working!
