Components showing no background???

Question

When i load an article it is shown with the proper background. (a border with a background color)
However when i load an component, like a contact form, the background color is gone, its transparent and there is no border.
What is going wrong here ?

First thing i would do is use the browsers inspector to see what CSS is styling your page but i would expect the form components CSS to be responsible, overriding your template CSS. I use a mix of RSform pro and Flexicontact plus for example and add or edit some custom CSS to each components forms to acheive what I need.
