How do I enable sidebar on default blank template?

Question

Hi, I've had Template Toaster for a long time now, and just today I had reason to use it to create a blank template, but it has no sidebar and I can't figure out how to enable it.  My version is up to date, and I'm using the latest version of Joomla (Feb' 2017).  I've selected the Sidebar tab and selected "left" as the position, and it still won't show up.

Any ideas?

I think I answered my own question.  In Joomla, I have to go to the position of the sidebar and enable that or change the position of the sidebar menu to another position.  D'OH!
