Text Box Alignment

Hi TT,
it is the little things that are starting to niggle me at the moment. Mainly the spacing and alignment of text boxes, they are all over the place and I cannot seem to do anything to correct them.

Here are two links to pages of a site I am working on. The first one which is a login page the text boxes are all squiged up and on the second the boxes are not aligning the text correctly and I cannot change the dropdown arrows in TT to fit the boxes better.

Is this something that is fixable in present version or can it be sorted in the next version please?

Ignore the second link above. I worked out it is to do with the length of the longest entry in the dropdown being shorter than the default entry. Which is why the second dropdown in the row is aligned well.

I am using Joomla 2.5.16 at the moment.
