Image Instead Of Slide Show

Question

So instead of a slide show I want to add a static image instead in the same location as the slide. I don't see where you can do this..
Help?

Go to 'slideshow' menu item and uncheck the 'slideshow' box at top left, then go to menu item 'header' and choose the position you need.

This is fine unless you want text boxes to slide in from somewhere, not found a way of doing that....yet!
