set both background color and image?

Question

When I set the Body background color my background image disappears. When I set the image the color changes. I'm using the trial Pro version. I'm not sure if this is a bug or if I'm doing something wrong.

I can get around this using the custom CSS feature but it would be nice to be able to see the background color in the editor.

My custom CSS added under Preferences:
body {background-color:#DDB78A;}
