I created a Joomla template with a full width footer. TemplateToaster automatically creates three module positions in the footer (leftfooterarea, centerfooterarea, rightfooterarea) of equal width. This means that the actual width of the module positions is not fixed, but depends on the width of the browser window.

What I actually need is a center footer position whose (fixed) width is equal to the page width, but I cannot find a way to accomplish this. Is this not possible, or am I missing something here?

Hi,

You can use Footer above module positions which can be customized according to your requirements.

I have tried that, but also there I cannot specify exact widths for the module positions, only percentages. In other words: same problem!

Hi,

You can draw the module positions on footer from Module Positions -> Draw. These positions are of fixed width.
