no content in Joomla start page

Question 1

I made a little change to my start page template and exported it using TT 3.0.5165 (for Joomla 1.5). On the start page the content like welcome article is not shown any more while menus and modules appear correctly. Similar templates on other pages/categories have no errors, only the start page = home page is concerned.
The same template exported with TT 3.0.5135 shows no errors.
