Chris, your answer has nothing to do with my question, in case you didn't notice.

Ok, PLEASE READ MY LIPS, or at least the following text! NEVER answer with another question on top of or inside a question. Why? Because it will NEVER be answered! ALWAYS go to the top menu bar and click on "Ask a Question" if you want an answer. Your lucky to get an answer with the original question let alone a tag-along. It does not matter if you're website has gone to ell or if your wife is about to give birth to a fully grown 6 year old Big Foot pending your website being online.

In your case you should have gone to the "Help" dropdown at the top of the page and clicked on "Support" and put in a support ticket. Then start a NEW "Ask a Question" and pray you get an answer from one of them.

Sorry if I seem rude. Forum users, please pay attention to what you're asking and where you are asking it. Of course that's your choice if you choose to waste your time and wait for a certain place to freeze over. Ha!

A few years ago TT came out with a 64 bit version that's suppose to handle larger websites 50 to a 100 pages or more. You could always split up your site with sub-sites. Easier to handle and edit. Here's some other programs if you have not looked at them. Website X5 has a great page manager and some very large sites online. Coffee Cup bombs after 50 pages. WYSIWYG web builder might work and has Mac and linux versions. Xara web designer may also slow down after 50 pages. Also check out Rocket cake, it's the smallest file (cleanest code) to upload and has Mac also. After looking at your sites Website x5 or web builder may be the best. Check them all.

Q: The default size when starting is just "16" but no where does it state pt or pixel. 16pt and 16 pixel are two different sizes.

A:TemplateToaster gives two choices to set the layout of the page. These are –

Fixed Width Layout –

In this layout, the dimensions of the site is bound to a certain number of pixels (px). You can select element width in pixels. Header, Menu, Slideshow, Sidebar, and Footer are the elements whose width is bound to pixels.

Fluid Width Layout –

In this layout, the dimensions are calculated in percentage (%). If you choose fluid width layout of your template/website, you can select the width of Header, Menu, Slideshow, Sidebar, and Footer in percentage.

Sometimes I wonder if the moderators use fake names and English is not their native language!
I could not find anything either about your question or in the user guide. Do some searches with:
"difference between points and pixels"
All I could find was that Bootstrap 5 uses pixels.
As usual, put a ticket in and you'll probably get an answer.
If you do, please do a new post so we all know the answer.
(Too bad half the time they ask you to put a ticket in and the rest of us never see the answer.)

Fixed layout ->the container element is set to not move. No matter what screen resolution the visitor has, he or she will see the same width as other visitors.

Fluid Layout->In a fluid layout, the majority of the components inside have percentage widths, and thus adjust to the user’s screen resolution.

Template Toaster follows Bootstrap 12 column structure. If your want to show 5 columns in a single row with equal space you need to add custom CSS. You can add custom CSS in TemplateToaster ->General Tab->Editors->CSS

Hey,

This is happening because your videos are being autoplay. This is the policy of Google that only the muted videos can be auto-played. That's why you're not getting audio in your videos.

Also, the video which you'll add in text areas, they will play with audio but videos which are inserted in the background of the Header, Body, and Slideshow will be auto-played only when muted.

Hey,

To add the alternative text in the pictures, you can follow these steps:

1. Double click in the content section where you want to add an image-> Editor tab will open.

2. Editor tab-> Click on Image, a Picture dialog box opens.

3. You will see the Alt Tag option there.

To add the Caption HTML to pictures and alternate text & Caption HTML to elements, you can directly add the Custom HTML code in the content section in TemplateToaster.

Simply, Double click in the content section-> Paste the custom HTML code directly.

TemplateToaster version 8 provides you an option to add relative URL, Relative URL consists of the path, optionally, the resource, but no root domain. The relative link you add is on the same site and is part of the same root domain. e.g you can simply provide path "/Test1/Test2/Test3" in relative URL instead of complete path "localexplorer:T:\Test1\Test2\Test3".

To add the Relative URL Double click on the area and select the text where you want to add -> Choose Hyperlink option -> Select the Relative URL section and add the file path -> Save.

Hello,

As the space in URL is replaced by "%20" by the browser so, as for this reason there is not space allowed to enter in any way while entering in URL section. But you may add %20 in URL as for denoting space.

CSS is generated on the basis of selectors i.e element's class or id so more than one element can have same margin/padding/background/border and other css properties, that's why properties are being repeated.

Asked the same question in August of 2018 about TT being a 64 bit program and the response was:

"I have forwarded your query to our development team, if found feasible we will surely fulfill this requirement in the future version of TemplateToaster."

And obviously it's now a 64 bit program and not in the (x86) folder.

As usual, notifications, news and update notes/fixes are not at the top of the list.

(On your home page you might state the program is 64 bit or compatible with 64 or 32, etc. I did not see it. Or did I miss it?)

Apparently the only way to include a gif image on a site in this software is to make your site with a placeholder image, say kludge.png of the same pixel dimensions as the gif you wish to use.

Then when you're otherwise ready to publish, export your website to a folder on your desktop. Go into this folder and find the html file of the page containing the placeholder to be replaced and right-click->open with->notepad (or word pad). When this page of code opens up to be edited, hit Ctrl-F and type kludge.png into that search window. It should highlight it within an html image tag: href="images/kludge.png". Overwrite kludge.png there with desired.gif and click file->save to save this edit to the code.

Then go into the images folder within that website folder, delete kludge.png and copy desired.gif into this folder. Copy this image there. Don't just drag your only copy of it into this folder as you'll have to repeat this export-edit mess every time you update your website for as long as you have that gif image on your site.

Then use a third-part FTP client to upload the site to your hosting account.

Only way I've found to get there in this software is to write the content in black text, then highlight all by dragging your mouse cursor, right click-Font, click the little paint bucket icon in the middle of the typography window that opens up, select the desired color and click OK.

This for each and every page. Of course in my case, since my website uses gold text on a black background in the content area, I also have to change that color before hand and change it back afterwards as black text on a black background just looks blank.

First create the link which will look blue. Then highlight the link text, right click and click "Font" on the right-click menu. Click the little paint can icon in the middle of the window that opens up, select the desired link color and click OK. You'll have to do this with each individual link you make.

How to change the color of the content text to brown by default

I want to change the text color from black to brown for all of the content. To do that I try to use the "Website Typography" but somewhow I can not find the correct way. I can do it by doubleclicking every column and change the color manually but this should not be the correct solution. Same problem with links. I want all links by default having a brown color. But they are blue by default. Can not change it only by doubleclicking each link and do every link manually.
