You should be able to select this under “Layout” for normal menus as well as hamburger menus. However, I have noticed that there seems to be a bug and the “Layout” selection does not work in combination with the hamburger menu, either for desktop or tablet. Layout is not even available on tablet. Horizontal does not work in any display; the menu is always displayed vertically.

TemplateToaster template provides an option to set menu module styling, for this please follow the steps provided below -
Go to Joomla dashboard -> Modules -> Menu module -> edit -> style options -> menu display -> select "TT Default" -> save.

I have tried to change the background color of the content to black. In TT it shows black but in Joomla it is white. I've tried changing Container and Body with container set to no color. Nothing will change the background. It changes in TT but not Joomla

I have updated to the latest version of Toaster and I find that Joomla templates created with the new version do not have the background image in articles that I produce in Joomla 5.02. When I look at the thumbnail of the template the background image is shown. The very same template converted to zip and uploaded in the previous version of toaster shows the background image behind the article text as it should. Is this a known issue that will be fixed?

How do I add a link to a particular slideshow slide?

I can't see how to do this.

I would like to be able to add a separate link (internal or external) to each slide.

I'm assuming this basic requirement is there but I'm missing it!

It's for a Joomla 5 site, if that makes any difference.

At a push I could add a button to each slide with a different link, but couldn't find how to do that either.

I've had a similar issue, trying to reduce the line spacing of Joomla post titles (for which there doesn't appear to be a setting) and I think ended up changing the H1 element site-wide.

In my Joomla template I can't remove the calendar icon next to the date in the article metadata.

I have succeeded in removing all the others under Blog > Content > Metadata > Icon, yet the calendar one refuses to budge when I bring the template into Joomla 4, despite not appearing in TT, or when I preview the site in Firefox or Chrome.

I, probably foolishly, started styling the menu of a new site while in the 'Blog' bit of TT. When I went back to the 'Home' page I realised it doesn't ripple through - presumably in case you want a different style on different sections of your site. What's my best option now for creating a menu that will apply for all setions of my new site? Can I apply the 'Blog' menu styling to everything somehow? Or should I start on it again, perhaps on the Home page?

We have checked your website URL, it seems you are using header foreground image to cover up full header, which needs to set for every responsive view i.e desktop, tablet as well as mobile view, so instead of foreground image you may use header background image which will be effortlessly responsive.

2.You have applied main menu module within footer below position, which seems to be bulleted list due to compressed area of less width of module position, either you may use "menu" position for menu module or also you may use a fullwidth module position.

3. Footer layout is having background color white same as main page that's why causes a display issue, it is displaying but unable to distinguish it, so you may please select a different background for clear visualisation of footer.

ich nutze Templatetoaster und für den Content SP Pagebuilder. Wenn ich dort eine Zeile auf 100% Breite erstelle, entsteht bei meiner Website ein waagerechter Scrollbalken für wenige Pixel. Das nervt und ich möchte den gerne weg haben.

Gibt es da eine CSS Anweisung? Wer könnte mir da weiterhelfen?

Well, I was able to solve my problem with the active menu item by performing a manual Joomla installation and not running the 'Easyinstall' offered by my web hosting provider. Now a Templatetoaster template works fine.

sorry, but I seem not to see the forest for the trees :-(

I know the question has been asked here several times, but I can not understand the answer.

My problem:

So in Templatetoaster I create a header with background graphic, logo and text in a text field.

But after importing it into Joomla, only the background graphic and logo is displayed - not the text.

As a solution here in the forum the following is suggested:

1. import template into Joomla

2. click system

3. click on control panel

4.there click the import button

Clicking on the system on the left side is clear, but I find neither the control panel, nor an import button.

In which category (Settings, Install, Templates...) can I find the control panel? Can it be that these points are now called something else?

Please help me, I am going crazy here....

Hallo zusammen,

hoffentlich kann mir jemand von euch helfen.

Ich möchte ein Template erstellen und zwar mit einem Sidebar Menü, da ich ca 20 Menüpunkte habe.

Das ist in der Ansicht für Desktop und Tablett auch kein Problem. In der Mobilen Ansicht hätte ich aber gerne

ein Hamburgermenü. Das wird mir aber nicht angezeigt. Anscheinend kann ich das nur für die mobile Ansicht erhalten, wenn ich statt des Sidebar Menüs das "normale" Menü verwende. Durch die vielen Menüpunkte ist mir das aber nicht wirklich möglich.

Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich ein Sidebar Menü einstellen kann und trotzdem in der mobilen Ansicht das Hamburgermenü bekomme?

Ich bedanke mich schon einmal recht herzlich fürs lesen und noch mehr, falls jemand eine Lösung hat.

"Export the theme with content and install theme in joomla and import the content(Go to system --> control panel, there click the import button) your text box content will appear on frontend."

I tried to downgrade the bootstrap from 5 to 4, still not working.

The menu items created in TT are working fine. When adding addtional menu items in joomla(4) CMS to featured articals or to other components like login the style is screwed up/different.

Using a standard template this works fine. Is there something I am missing?

Currently learning how to use TemplateToaster and chose the Bistro Bar template as my test bed. I changed the logo image in the menu location; using both the TT8 default images and my own imported images, but it doesn't show when previewed in the browser. I've opened it in FireFox, Chrome, and Edge browsers without any different result.
