      • Navigate to C:/users/”your-username”/.gimp-2.8/plug-ins and Copy “layerfx.2.8.py” file here.

      • Navigate to /home/users/”your-username”/.gimp-2.8/plugins and Copy “layerfx.2.8.py” file here. Set Permissions, Access: Read and Write and Execute: Allow executing file as program (tick the checkbox)

  5. Restart GIMP for letting the changes to take place. Once restarted you can use them from Layer >Layer Effects. Select the desired effect you want to apply to your layer.

Inner Shadow
