Making sure article metadata displays correct font, color, etc.

Question

I am fine tuning my template before I start placing all the articles on it.

In the template maker, all the article metadata (like author, date published, etc.) is a nice light tan color for the font.

When the template is live however, it goes to a light grey and I don't know why.

It would appear that a regular article is fine. It would also appear that a article in the category blog preview displays the color correctly too! but when you click the article and see it (the link above is an example of) the metadata looses it's color properties.
