Styling for responsive template

Question

Hi,
I've made created a TT template and it's not behaving in responsive mode.

Mobile phone in portait orientation the footer bg image stays and is distorted.
Mobile phone in landscape, and the whole template reverts to PC mode and doesn't fit and slideshows etc show when I don't want them to.

However, when I do a preview and it comes up on web browser, it's much better in landscape. but the footer bg remains.

I view this on a samsung s4mini and a samsung s4 and an iPhone 5c and this is where you must look.

The css is so long I can't find it in the div or class styling for it.

Can you point me in the right direction please.

Further to my last, in landscape, the menu tries to display as on a normal PC or laptop and there is an overlap.

I have a module position that includes a slideshow - I have manages to change this, so that it does not show in landscape mode on a mobile (Samsung S4 mini).
