Top/Horizontal Menu problem

Hi TT,
I am having trouble getting joomla to show the attributes I set in TT for the top/horizontal menu, it is just showing as default blue link text. I have just one item in at the moment about us above the header see link for my staging page.

Hi,

Horizontal menu styles are only applied to the menu placed on Menu position.

Which would be what position? I have tried it in topmenu automatic, menu and lots of others, I cannot seem to find the correct position?
